Subcarpathian Science and Technology Park “AEROPOLIS” in Jasionka
The Podkarpackie Science and Technology Park AEROPOLIS is currently one of the most attractive places for investment in southeastern Poland. AEROPOLIS is a way to attract modern companies and technologies, that can take an advantageu of the potential of local universities and research centers. The Podkarpacki Science and Technology Park is the first industrial park in Poland that maintains the long-standing and deeply rooted traditions of the aviation industry in the region. This scientist park in both the economic and research spheres is to be associated mainly with the aerospace industry. The PSTP includes an Academic Pre-incubator is located at The Rzeszow University of Technology area and at Technology Incubator in Jasionka.
The AEROPOLIS provides facilities for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. All taken actions are the way to promote advanced technology from the aerospace, information technology, electrical machinery, biotechnology and chemical industries is promoted. Entrepreneurs can rent on favorable terms office and production-service space located in the Incubator building. Aslo at their disposal is required infrastructure, technical and conference facilities.
The Incubator building, with an area of about 5300 sqm, includes:
- Ready to rent are also office and conference section with 39 office rooms with an average area of about 30 sqm each. This section also includes a conference room for 200 people and two meeting rooms for 16 and 20 people. Near to the conference room is also a catering area;
- Production and service area, consisting of 12 places of 100, 200 and 300 sqm for rent. The tenants have sanitary and social facilities at their disposal that includs locker rooms and washrooms.
New start-ups and established companies can locate their business in the Technology Incubator. This is also an opportunity for entities leaving the PPNT Academic Pre-incubator to continue their business.
The Technology Incubator, with a total area of 5,300 sqm, can be rented on preferential terms:
- offices (39 rooms with an average area of about 30 sqm) – price 40 PLN/m2
- production and service space (12 rooms of the following areas: 100 m2, 200 m2 and 300 m2) – price 28 PLN/m2
The above rates are subject to rent relief:
- 50% discount in 1 year of running a business,
- 45% in 2 year,
- 40% in 3 year.
For entrepreneurs are avalable social, technical and conference facilities such as a conference room for approx. 200 people and 2 meeting rooms for approx. 16 and 20 people.
The time of participating for entrepreneurs in the Technology Incubator is a maximum of 8 years.
The mission of the Technology Incubator includes::
- Supporting the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises;
- Supporting development of companies that start their business with the Academic Pre-incubator;
- Encouraging the establishment and development of companies created by students, graduates, PhD students and academic staff of higher education institutions in Podkarpacie;
- Enabling the utilize of scientific achievements, research and development works of universities of the Podkarpackie region
- Also supporting large enterprises operating in the PPNT area or planning that kind of operations.
