SSE EURO-PARK Mielec

SEZ EURO-PARK MIELEC is Poland’s first special economic zone, that was established in 1995 during the difficult transition period of the Polish economy. This zone was built on the ruins of a large aircraft factory that was a local industrial monoculture. SEZ EURO-PARK MIELEC inherited from old factory production resources, industrial traditions, culture, and above all local human capital.

  • The administrator of the zone is the Industrial Development Agency S.A. Mielec Branch.
  • EURO-PARK MIELEC consists of subzones located mainly in the southeastern part of Poland, in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. It also has subzones in Lubelskie, Zachodniopomorskie, Silesia and Malopolskie.
  • Main goal of SEZ EURO-PARK MIELEC is to attract investor with new projects that create new jobs and investment expenditures. Activities are focused on attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and stimulating the development of domestic entrepreneurship under favorable business conditions.   • Oferta strefy obejmuje opcje inwestycyjne: tereny greenfield z pełną infrastrukturą i dostępnością komunikacyjną, brownfield – wolne obiekty produkcyjne oraz „build-to-suit” (BTS) – obiekty budowane nakładem zarządzającego (ARP S.A.) i udostępniane  inwestorom w drodze kupna, dzierżawy czy leasingu.
  • The investment incentive in the SEZ EURO-PARK MIELEC is state aid in the form of income tax exemption at the highest level allowed in the EU.
  • Current range of public support in the Mielec zone is from 25% (Silesian) to 50% (Subcarpathian, Lublin). The base ceilings are increased by 10% for medium-sized and 20% for small companies, respectively.
  • EURO-PARK MIELEC is an effective tool of regional development working towards stable economic growth of the region and increasing investment attractiveness. For years, the zone has been positioned by independent rankings among the most effective zones in Poland.

The Industrial Development Agency S.A. in Mielec is responsible for management of EURO-PARK MIELEC is. The main tasks of include: 

  • marketing activites of the zone and companies operating in the zone,
  • attracting and maintenance new investors,
  • issuing permits to investors to start business in the SEZ,
  • ongoing control of investors’ activities,
  • providing help to investors in runing a business, as well as support in establishing contacts with business partners.
