On May 27, 2026, a funding agreement was signed at the Marshal Office of the Podkarpackie Region for the project “High-Quality Public Spaces in the Rzeszow Functional Area.” The project is carried out by the Association of the Rzeszow Functional Area together with its partner municipalities and is funded through the European Funds for Podkarpackie 2021–2027 Programme.

The project brings together the cities of Rzeszow and Lancut, as well as the municipalities of Chmielnik, Czarna, Czudec, Glogow Małopolski, Lubenia, Lancut, Swilcza, Trzebownisko and Tyczyn.

The total value of the project is over PLN 85.8 million, including nearly PLN 57.5 million in European Union funding.

The Municipality of Trzebownisko received the largest grant among all participating local governments, amounting to PLN 14.8 million.

Thanks to this funding, several important projects will be carried out in the municipality:

  • a new leisure area around the historic granary in Laka,
  • a brine graduation tower in Tajęcina,
  • a parking area next to the graduation tower,
  • open recreation zones in Terliczka, Jasionka and Nowa Wies,
  • expansion of the municipal CCTV monitoring system.

The total value of the investments planned in the Municipality of Trzebownisko is PLN 26.9 million.

The projects will be implemented in 2026 and 2027.

This is another successful example of the Municipality of Trzebownisko obtaining external funding for local development. The planned investments will improve public spaces, provide new opportunities for recreation, and increase the safety and comfort of residents.
